Year 9 pupils demonstrated their navigation skills last weekend in a practice for the forthcoming Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award expedition.  A group of 28 pupils walked from Harewood to Bramhope on Saturday, camped at Bramhope Scout Camp overnight and trekked on to Burley in Wharfedale on Sunday.  The attitudes and behaviour exhibited by pupils were excellent throughout the weekend.  Thanks to Mr Milner for leading the activity and preparing the pupils in advance and to Miss Bishop, Mr Edney, Mr Coldwell, Mrs Powell-Wiffin, Mrs McBrinn, Mr Wild and Mr Mangan for supervising.  The assessed expedition takes place on 24 and 25 of June in the Yorkshire Dales. We wish our pupils every success for this activity.
