Secondary school life is a little different and we understand that whilst it is exciting to leave primary school, you might be a bit nervous too. We work hard at Cardinal Heenan Catholic High School to offer guidance and support to ensure a happy and successful transition.
Mr Teggart, Head of Year 7 will oversee your transition activities and will help ensure the transition from primary to secondary is an exciting and enjoyable one.
During the summer term we work in partnership with primary schools to ensure all our new Year 7 students feel well supported in their transition to Cardinal Heenan. Mr Teggart and other members of our senior leadership team will visit lots of primary schools to speak to students and Year 6 teachers about transition and how things will work at Cardinal Heenan.
