Our Head Girl, Bettina Cahilig is looking forward to working with other members of the prefect team in representing the student body and giving something back to the community that has helped her grow and flourish as a person so much.
Bettina commented: “The values of Cardinal Heenen; to be kind, follow rules and try you best are what makes me so proud to be a student here. I want to be a role model to younger students and help them: I want them to know that whilst I do well in school it is because I dedicate a lot at time at home to my studies and my interests like playing the piano.”
“Cardinal Heenan has helped forge the determined, resilient person I am today and I can assure you that I’ll work hard and do what’s best for our school.”
George Grumley is very proud to be Head Boy and enthusiastic to embrace our community spirit. “Cardinal Heenan is a supportive community whether it’s in sport, music, drama or our academic studies, we all just want to see each other reach our greatest potential. The Boys will Be Brilliant programme was an eye opener, it made me realise that a little support or encouragement can go a long way.
I am well respected around school, I am approachable and trustworthy, and I look forward to supporting students get their voice heard or just encourage them with a smile or a laugh!”
Mia Lomotos, Deputy Head Girl, is proud of the welcoming, inclusive community of Cardinal Heenan. Mia embraced the opportunity to try lots of different clubs and activities to discover what she really loves doing, “life is created so you can find your meaning.”
Deputy Head Boy, Daniel O’Brien wants to ensure the student views, experiences and opinions are shared with members of staff who can make change happen. Daniel particularly wants “to inspire everyone to achieve their potential especially in Y11, whilst ensuring that the last year at Cardinal Heenan is a memorable one.”
