We marked Children’s Mental Health Week through a series of assemblies celebrating our community and launching opportunities for students to take on leadership roles in helping others to feel a sense of belonging in school. The week also coincided with our Culture Week in school, where students had the chance to celebrate their individuality and the different aspects of identity which make us strong as a diverse community.
You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love. For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: “Love your neighbour as yourself.”
Galatians 5:13-14
