Children’s Mental Health Week 2025

Children’s Mental Health Week 2025

We celebrated Children’s Mental Health Week with a series of assemblies and tutor group activities around this year’s theme ‘Know Yourself, Grow Yourself’. Students reflected on ways they can build positive mental health strategies to become the people God calls them to be. Assemblies provided opportunities for self reflection, thinking about individual strategies for promoting positive mental health and developing an awareness of situations and habits which may negatively impact on mental health. During tutor time, students considered the range of emotions experienced during adolescence and learned about how to recognise and acknowledge this full range of feelings. These activities used the characters from popular film, Inside Out 2, as a springboard to open a conversation about emotions.
