Common Good Influencers May 2025

Our Common Good Influencers hosted an Easter Afternoon Tea in conjunction with Leeds Irish Health and Homes, inviting residents from Brandon House as well as LIHH service users. Students served food and drinks to our guests and we enjoyed music from Mick Teggart and singers from St Paul’s Primary School.

Eibhlin and Alana entertained our visitors with Irish dancing and everyone enjoyed an Easter bonnet competition.

A group of 11 students also visited Brandon House to celebrate the 80th anniversary of VE Day. Pupils spoke to residents about their memories and Eibhlin and Alana also performed an Irish dance for residents.

The Faith in Action group will be taking over our regular Tuesday lunchtime visits to Penny Fields, playing games, joining in with Sing and Sign and chatting to pupils. Following the success of our clothing collection for Horsforth Town of Sanctuary, we will be collecting men’s clothes for newly arrived refugees on a termly basis. Please send any suitable donations into school.
