Inspiring Student Leaders

Our Year 10 students have started to think about senior leadership roles in school. Their assembly this week focused on the qualities of a good leader, following the example of Jesus as a servant leader. They reflected on the ways in which their actions demonstrate their faith and the qualities of humility, integrity, flexibility, resilience, stewardship and empathy which they will need to help them to carry out their leadership roles. Their Head of Year, Mrs Millington, challenged all students to develop these servant leadership qualities in their daily lives and inspired them to consider taking on a leadership position in school.

Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. (Colossians 3:12)
