Open Day 2025

Open Day 2025

It was fantastic to open our doors to our community at our Open Day in October. Visitors had the opportunity to tour around our school, meet staff and get an insight into lessons at Cardinal Heenan.

Visitors could choose to be escorted around school by our enthusiastic student tour guides, who were able to offer their own insights into life at Cardinal Heenan; or explore independently. In every room, they met staff and students who engaged them in conversations about the range of subjects on offer, as well as our excellent pastoral support systems.

Among other opportunities, prospective students and their families had the chance to try out a range of number and logic puzzles in the maths department; consider the impact of marketing and branding through taste testing in the business and enterprise department; try out a range of experiments with the science department and see the laser cutter in action in the technology department.

As always, it was great to see so many current and former students in school. We are very proud of our students who give up their time to support younger students in making decisions about transition to high school.

It is also fantastic to catch up with former students when they visit with their younger siblings or even bring their own children to visit.
