As our centre stepped into the circle it was all “Go! Go! Go!” right from the beginning! Cardinal Heenan were great with their quick high press, keeping the ball in our attacking third. In the second quarter, Carr Manor were challenging but Cardinal Heenan were successful with many interceptions. The third quarter brought more of the same along with many successful shots. We went into the fourth quarter in the lead meaning Carr Manor had to fight for interceptions, goals and chances. A Carr Manor injury halfway through the final quarter saw a quick position change and the match ended 9-1 to Cardinal Heenan. Player of the Match: Sinead.
