Year 10 Work Experience

Year 10 Work Experience

Our Year 10 students have spent the past week on work experience placements across the city. Students have gained insights into the world of work on placements at our feeder primary schools, at local libraries and in a wide range of businesses in the local area. Students have built experience in engineering, medical and academic workplaces and some students have been offered part time work and ongoing internships with their work experience providers. A small number of students spent the week in school, engaging in a range of activities across different departments as well as attending in-person and virtual workshops with employers and colleges aimed at building employability skills and supporting them to make positive choices about their next steps.
