Year 7 Residential and Retreat 2025

Year 7 Residential and Retreat 2025

Year 7 had a wonderful time on their retreat and residential. The weekend combined reflection and prayer with opportunities for team building and taking on new challenges.

The weekend kicked off with a silent disco, where students had fun with their peers and relaxed after a busy week at school.

On Saturday morning, they came together for a Mass led by Fr Yemane, where they gave thanks for the new opportunities they have enjoyed at Cardinal Heenan and reflected on the new friendships they have made and their hopes for the rest of their time at school.

Throughout the weekend, they enjoyed a range of team building and adventurous activities which gave them the opportunity to develop as the people God calls them to be. They lived the virtues, demonstrating their courage, solidarity, faith, hope and love.

Many thanks to the staff who generously gave up their time to offer this wonderful opportunity for our students.
