Year 8 Girls Football

Year 8 Girls Football

This report was written by Sophia.

So far this season the Year 8 girls football team have been amazing, winning all of their games and managing to keep their heads up even when it got tough. The girls have participated in county, national and league games, maintaining their winning streak throughout the season. They ended the year with a superb win against Garforth in the County Cup final. It was a close game and the opposition tried hard but still Cardinal Heenan persevered and managed to push through to bring the trophy home for the second year in a row. We are also through to the fifth round (last 32) of the ESFA National Cup.
