Year 9 iMedia careers at Notre Dame

A group of Year 9 iMedia students worked with the Media department at Notre Dame to explore courses and career options related to their subject. Students worked in teams and used specialised equipment to create a poster, video, podcast or social media post advertising a pizza delivery company. They considered the ways in which different media can be used to appeal to different audiences and engage potential customers. Pupils brought the skills they learnt into their lessons in school, filming and editing a video promoting Cardinal Heenan to potential new students. They used cameras and GoPros to film various aspects of school life and edited them together to create their promotional videos.
