I was appointed as a Foundation Governor to Cardinal Heenan Catholic High School by the Diocese of Leeds in May 2015.
I am now retired after nine years as CEO of BOSS Federation, the Trade Association for the Office Products Industry, representing about 1500 companies in Business Supplies. I also held a directorship with the British Printing Industries Federation.
I am a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and the Chartered Institute of Certified Accountants. During the last 30 years I have held senior management and Directors positions with some major PLCs (WH Smith and The Burton Group) and printing and manufacturing companies in the UK.
In the past I have been Chair of Governors at St Paul’s Catholic Primary School. Two of my sons have been past students at Cardinal Heenan.
I am a practising Catholic and I hope to bring my experience in management and finance to support the Governing Body, the Headteacher, staff, students and parents and all stakeholders in Cardinal Heenan Catholic High School.
