Bringing science to life

Bringing science to life

In January the BAE STEM roadshow team presented two fantastic assemblies to our Year 7 and 8 students. With the aim of opening the eyes of young people to the career possibilities of studying science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) subjects the assembly certainly brought the opportunities to life.

The theme of the roadshow was magnetism and a series of magic tricks were completed to showcase the power of magnetism including suspending a man in air! The session really showed how magnets work, how they relate to our life and the work at BAE Systems.
