Students from KS3 and KS4 have been working on their entries for the Historical Association’s Young Historian Award. The competition, run in conjunction with the Spirit of Normandy Trust, gives students the opportunity to investigate, analyse and write about history. It encourages extended study and helps students to write about history in an incisive, interesting and critical way. The subject categories cover local history, the modern world and especially aspects of 20th-century history and our students have investigated a wide range of subject areas including the impact of the space race on Russian and American relations.
