Leeds University Schools Question Time

A group of Year 10 students travelled to Leeds University to participate in Schools Question Time. This event gives students the opportunity to question a panel of local and national politicians, business leaders and academics about the issues that affect their lives. Two of our students were chosen to put their questions to the panel. Chloe asked about ways to ensure that water companies met their responsibilities with regards to sewage disposal and keeping our waterways clean, while Welwitcha asked about the impacts of social media on young people. All students represented our school incredibly well and considered some challenging issues facing our society. Well done everyone.
