Faith in Action 2024-25

December 2025

Alongside coordinating the collection of items for the Advent hampers, the Faith in Action and Chaplaincy groups have found time to sell and deliver candy canes throughout December to raise money for St Gemma’s hospice. Students have spread festive cheer and messages of faith, hope and love while raising money.

February 2025

The Faith in Action group have been selling Valentine’s Day chocolate hearts to raise money for Tommy’s, a charity which has supported members of our school community in recent years. Students could send a token of love to their Valentine or Pal-entine (or even to themselves!) along with a note sharing their love for the recipient. The Faith in Action group then delivered these to the recipients during tutor time each day.

Mr Tunnecliff went along to a Faith in Action group meeting to present students with their badges from the Diocese. These badges show our students as part of a wider faith community and demonstrate the commitment they have made to putting their faith in action for the good of our school and wider community.
