Maths Challenge 2025

Maths Challenge 2025

This term, our Year 9 students in Mrs Cowley’s and Mr Warren’s class put their mathematical skills and creative thinking to the test in the UK Maths Trust Intermediate Maths challenge. Designed to challenge and inspire young mathematicians across the country, the competition features a series of problem-solving questions that push students to think logically, creatively and strategically. The students worked very hard, tackling tricky puzzles and applying their mathematical reasoning under timed conditions.

We are incredibly proud of their efforts. Four of our students received Silver certificates, meaning that their results scoring in the top 25% of the country! Well done to all who took part!
