Year 7 Visit to Leeds University 2025

A group of Year 7 students followed up their Green Careers Week work with a visit to Leeds University for their Alternative Materials day. During the day on campus and a session in school, pupils learnt more about the wide variety of new and more sustainable materials being used in manufacturing and the role of engineers in developing these materials. Topics on the day included energy efficiency in computer, biomimicry and medical engineering.
