A group of Year 9 students attended Notre Dame’s French Day. At this event, students attended talks and workshops hosted by the University of Liverpool, Manchester Metropolitan University, Lancaster University and the University of Leeds. They played French language games and learnt about French culture through songs, films and television. They day focussed on the benefits of language learning and gave students an insight into further study, both at college and university. Students also enjoyed a campus tour with Notre Dame students on hand to answer any questions they had about campus life or foreign language studies.
