This month, the Common Good group has continued collecting clothing donations for refugees as part of the Horsforth Town of Sanctuary appeal, alongside their regular meetings.
During this time, three of our Common Good leaders had the opportunity to visit the Irish Centre, where communities gathered and connected over a shared meal as part of a St Patrick’s Day celebration and everyone enjoyed an afternoon of music and dancing.
Our weekly visits to Penny Field School and Brandon House care home have continued and we really appreciate the connection we have with our neighbours.
Many members of the Common Good group, along with the wider school, have also been participating in weekly fundraising activities within their year groups and forms. These efforts are supporting the Good Shepherd Appeal, with an Easter-themed focus.
