A group of Year 7 and 8 students have been reading and reviewing the shortlisted titles for the Leeds Book Awards fiction and graphic novel categories. As part of their preparations for the awards ceremony in May, the group were invited to Leeds Central Library, where they had a tour of the historic building before creating and editing ‘BookTok’ videos about the shortlisted books. The group have now voted for their favourite shortlisted titles and submitted questions for the authors – we can’t wait to find out the winners in May!
