A group of Year 10 students, accompanied by Mrs Stanton, Miss Serra and Mr Scott, visited Andalucía in the south of Spain on our first school trip to the region. It was an action packed 5 days including tours of the spectacular Moorish architecture of the Alhambra palace in Granada, the Mezquita in Córdoba and the Plaza de España and Real Alcázar in Seville, where we were blessed with blue skies and an opportunity to soak up some sun. Pupils and staff also enjoyed sampling local tapas and churros, making paella and gazpacho, watching a traditional flamenco show and taking part in an interactive language class.
